What the published documents say about the fee

The 2026 booklet states that the examination fee is ₹300 per student per subject. It also says the fee is non-refundable. Families should pay only through the centre route or published online process described by the examination authority and retain the acknowledgement.

Who can use the NSEJS route

The live NSE 2026 page summarises NSEJS candidates as students in Class 8, 9 or 10 on 30 November 2026, born from 1 January 2012 through 31 December 2013. Those two conditions are not the complete eligibility test: passport eligibility, residence/schooling, Class 10 board timing and the same-cycle science-NSE restriction also apply.
