NSEJS 2026 Student Enrolment Opens 21 August: Dates, Fee and Routes
IAPT’s live 2026 page lists student enrolment from 21 August to 14 September 2026. Students may enrol through a centre in-charge or use the individual route on the official IAPT website.

The confirmed registration timeline
| Stage | Published window | Who acts |
|---|---|---|
| NSE-centre registration | 1–20 August 2026 | Recognised schools and eligible institutions. |
| Student enrolment | 21 August–14 September 2026 | Centre in-charge or individual student through IAPT. |
| NSEJS examination | 22 November 2026, 2:30–4:30 PM | Enrolled candidate at the allotted NSE centre. |
What the official documents say about the fee
The IAPT booklet states that the examination fee is ₹300 per student per subject. It also says the fee is non-refundable. Families should pay only through the centre route or official online process described by IAPT and retain the acknowledgement.
Who can use the NSEJS route
The live IAPT page summarises NSEJS candidates as students in Class 8, 9 or 10 on 30 November 2026, born from 1 January 2012 through 31 December 2013. Those two conditions are not the complete eligibility test: passport eligibility, residence/schooling, Class 10 board timing and the same-cycle science-NSE restriction also apply.

What families can prepare before 21 August
- Read the current IAPT student brochure and check every eligibility condition.
- Decide whether enrolment will be handled by a registered centre or individually through IAPT.
- Keep the candidate’s name, date of birth and school information consistent with official records.
- Use only the live IAPT website for the final portal link and instructions.
- Plan for the ₹300 non-refundable fee and save the payment or centre receipt.
What is not being assumed
This report does not invent a portal workflow, document checklist or deadline extension that IAPT has not published. The student portal and instructions can change before opening day; families should use the live official page on 21 August rather than an old screenshot or forwarded link.
