Born in 2012 or 2013
Date of birth must fall from 1 January 2012 through 31 December 2013, both dates inclusive.
Studying in Class 8–10
The 2026 NSEJS enrolment form is for students studying in Class 8, 9 or 10.
Eligible Indian schooling
Review the published conditions on residence, schooling and eligibility to hold an Indian passport.
Do not mix NSE tracks
A student appearing for NSEJS cannot also appear for NSEA, NSEB, NSEC or NSEP in the same cycle.

Centre registration
Recognised schools and institutions register as NSE centres through the examination organiser.
Student enrolment opens
Centre enrolment and individual online enrolment are scheduled to begin.

Complete the form, fee and confirmation before the deadline.
NSEJS examination
Sunday, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the registered examination centre.

Both routes lead to the same NSEJS examination. Use the route that gives your family the clearest confirmation and most convenient centre.
Enrol through a registered school
This may be the student’s own school or another registered centre that accepts outside students.
- Check the published registered-centre list from 21 August.
- Contact the centre in-charge and confirm seat availability.
- Complete the NSEJS enrolment form with school and contact details.
- Pay the ₹300 fee as instructed and collect a receipt.
- Confirm enrolment status within seven working days.
Enrol individually online
Individual enrolment is scheduled from 21 August through 14 September 2026.
- Use the individual-enrolment portal shown in the current-year instructions.
- Enter the student’s name and date of birth exactly as in school records.
- Choose NSEJS, preferred language and a suitable examination centre.
- Review every field, pay online and save the payment reference.
- Download or screenshot the completed enrolment confirmation.
Keep one clean registration folder.

Who can appear for NSEJS 2026?
Students born from 1 January 2012 through 31 December 2013 who are studying in Classes 8, 9 or 10 may enrol, subject to all nationality, schooling and other published conditions.
Can a student register without their own school becoming a centre?
Yes. The published rules allow enrolment through another registered centre or through the individual online route.
How much is the NSEJS 2026 fee?
The published fee is ₹300 per student for NSEJS. The examination fee is non-refundable.
