NSEJS mock-test hub

Practise the real pattern—not a random science quiz.

Start with the free question-by-question practice quiz, use original NSEJS papers for authentic full-paper simulations, and choose structured mocks only when they solve a measured preparation gap.

Choose the right practice

Four useful starting points.

A diagnostic, a past paper and a mock test answer different questions. Use the smallest tool that gives the student the evidence needed next.

Free · 15 questions

Readiness diagnostic

Check subject balance and basic exam readiness before building a timetable or buying a programme.

Original-paper mock

Simulate the current format with a verified NSEJS paper and the actual two-hour time limit.

Repair weak topics

Connect every paper error to the Physics, Chemistry or Biology syllabus map before retesting.

Full-paper simulation

Run one mock that produces a useful plan.

Attempting many papers without reviewing them repeats the same mistakes. A smaller number of carefully analysed mocks is more useful.

Choose a recent verified paper

Begin with 2025 or 2024. Keep legacy-format papers for extra questions, not for copying the current structure.

Use one uninterrupted 120-minute sitting

Follow the current Part A and Part B rules. Do not pause for notes, videos or solution checks.

Score the two sections separately

Apply +3/−1 to Part A. For Part B, award +6 only when every correct option and no incorrect option is marked.

Classify every lost mark

Tag the cause as concept, calculation, interpretation, memory, guessing or time management.

Repair, then retest

Revise the two highest-impact gaps and reattempt the missed questions after several days before taking another full paper.

Scoring reference

Use the published marking logic.

This table summarises the published 2026 pattern. The latest published notices always takes priority.

SectionQuestionsCorrect responseIncorrect response
Part A48, one correct option+3−1
Part B12, one or more correct options+6 only for the complete correct setNo negative marking; no credit for an incomplete or incorrect set
Do not compare raw scores across formats. Several older Junior Science papers used different durations or question counts. Use them for practice, but benchmark current readiness with the current 60-question structure.
Structured practice

When more tests may help.

Students who understand the concepts but need regular simulation, solutions and analysis can compare the Test Lab with free self-study first.

Self-guided

Free practice route

Read the syllabus, attempt original papers, score carefully and keep an error log. This is enough to begin.

Common questions

Mock-test answers without inflated promises.

A mock is a measurement tool. It cannot guarantee selection or replace eligibility and published registration.

Is there a free NSEJS mock test?

Yes. Begin with the free 15-question readiness diagnostic, then use a recent original NSEJS paper as a full-length timed mock. The diagnostic is shorter; the original paper provides the authentic full-paper format.

Which NSEJS paper should I use first?

Use a recent verified paper such as 2025 or 2024. It is closer to the current 60-question, 216-mark structure than older legacy-format papers.

How many mock tests should I take?

There is no published required number. Take another mock only after reviewing the previous attempt and repairing its major errors. Quality of review matters more than accumulating scores.

Do mock-test marks predict the NSEJS cutoff?

No. The published MAS and MI depend on national performance after the examination. A mock score is useful for planning, not for predicting selection.

Where can I find chapter-wise practice?

Use the NSEJS question-bank hub to connect original papers, subject topics, the readiness diagnostic and structured chapter or subject tests without confusing unofficial questions with original papers.
